This federal evironmental program resolved defective drywall manufactured in China, imported in to the United States, and used between 2001-2009 which affected over 100,000 properties in 20 states; primarily FL, LA, AL, MS, and VA. The high content of sulfer in the drywall mix caused unpleasant odor and corroded metal and copper causing everything associated to fail; plumbing, wiring, lighting, etc.
