Case Study 2020-1767

The Eye Clinic - $1.5M

1767 Imperial Blvd, Lake Charles, LA 70605

This 20,000sf Ophthalmology and LASIK facility sustained damages from Hurricane Laura in August of 2020. JES was provided a signed contract the day after this devastating event; JES mobilized the same day of the contract. This was a collaborative effort of the center’s staff and Partners, 3rd party assessment and environmental consultants, a 3rd party pack-out/decontamination/storage and pack-back company, State Farm, a 3rd party Estimator, and the services of JES.

Multiple Services

This CAT2 / CAT3 Water Loss (per S-500 IICRC) claim involved a temporary roof, shrink wrapping the roof, heavy equipment for demolition and build-back, water extraction, 2′ & 4′ flood cuts, rooms with complete demo, removal of toe-kick, cabinetry inspection, removal of the acoustical ceiling, and complete mitigation services to successfully dry and provide humidity control of the entire structure. All work was monitored with results recorded daily. We received the 3rd party Clearance Letter from the assessment and environmental consultant just 20 days after mobilizing.
