J.E.S., Inc. over the past 5 years has shifted its focus to specializing in restoration services. These include but are not limited to: creating accurate insurance quality Xactimate estimates, mobilizing to disaster areas during and/or immediately following an event, supply of demo and cleaning labor, set up/monitor/complete dehumidification services with company owned equipment, mold-remediation service, and complete build back capabilities.
With J.E.S. previous years of experience in residential and commercial construction, we are able to offer full build back services in these disaster situations. From Demo to Rebuild, J.E.S. is qualified to perform the full scope of the services needed for complete build back. J.E.S., Inc. currently is licensed and insured in Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina & Florida. In addition to the above stated we also have extensive experience in organized, Federally Funded, disaster recovery programs. Our experience includes, but is not limited to:
Certain drywall material, imported from China and installed after Hurricane Katrina, contained unsafe levels of sulfur. J.E.S., Inc. was contracted by a third party as a Prime Contractor to remediate all drywall from over 400 homes and restore the home to its post hurricane condition. This program was estimated with the Xactimate pricing program. A typical scope of work for one of these homes would include, complete removal of all interior finishes to stud, micro-cleaning, then replacement of each item as “like for like”. These homes are located across the States of Louisiana and Mississippi.
Shelter at Home Program – 2016
This program was a fast paced, high volume emergency recovery program, established to repair flood damaged homes to safe living conditions. J.E.S., Inc. successfully completed over 750 Work Orders in the Shelter at Home Program. These homes were located from Lafayette, LA to Hammond, LA.
Hurricane Harvey, ICON Builders – 2017
In the days immediately following Hurricane Harvey, J.E.S., Inc. began and is currently under contract in Port Arthur, TX on 900 apartments (approximately 750,000 square feet of heated area) with ICON Builders. The contract entails being responsible for completion of the demolition, dehumidification, and installation of insulation and drywall for each of the units. This was completed within a 90-120 day schedule.

In response to the flooding in North Carolina our construction company (J.E.S., Inc.) and water mitigation franchise (AdvantaClean of Ascension & Livingston), mobilized and completed full demolition and water mitigated on over 50 homes in the New Bern, NC and surrounding areas. J.E.S. also completed a local school and apartment complex with 75 units for a full scale demo and dehumidification services. With the ability to sketch in Xactimate, offer 3D floor plans, and turn around an Xactimate in less than 48 hours, working with insurance companies is an ability that we have perfected. AdvantaClean is a nation-wide franchise and has GSA approved contract and rates to work on all federally owned properties.
Following the Hurricane Michael damage in Panama City with the new addition our territory (AdvantaClean of Panama City), we are currently offering full scale remediation services. J.E.S., Inc. is a licensed Residential, Building, and Roofing Contractor in Florida and currently in the Panama City and all surrounding areas.
J.E.S., Inc., licensed in Louisiana as a General and Residential Contractor, responded immediately to the disaster in South Louisiana. We have currently completed renovations on multiple homes and commercial buildings all over the Lake Charles area. J.E.S. is still working in Lake Charles and able to assist in any construction needs you may have.
